• We are NOT interested in minor varieties found in pocket change.
  • Base metals (copper, zinc, nickel, aluminum, iron, tungsten, etc.) and non-precious metal alloys such as brass, bronze, steel and nickel silver.
  • Anything that is merely plated with gold or silver, including anything that is marked as plate, GF (gold filled), HGE (heavy gold electroplate), EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) or 1/20.
  • Any jewelry or other scrap metal items that are attracted to a magnet (gold, silver and platinum are not magnetic).
  • Turquoise, jade, diamonds and other gemstones. Remove any valuable stones before bringing jewelry items to the store. Visit a jeweler if you need assistance removing stones.
  • Watches, other than any precious metal content.
  • Stamps.
  • Sports cards.
  • Rocks and minerals.
  • Antiques, other than collectable coins and paper money.
  • U.S. coins that are not worth more than face value, such as most state, territorial and parks quarters, Eisenhower dollars, Sacagawea dollars and Presidential dollars. However, if part of a larger collection, we may at our discretion offer to pay face value for such coins.
  • Anything which, in our sole discretion, is deemed to be something we cannot use.
