1865 Two-Cent Piece – PCGS MS64RB
A very fresh and creamy, nearly fully red, second year two-cent piece. The reverse has an old time fingerprint which gives it the red-brown designation. The obverse is nearly fully red with just a touch of brown in the form of light spots. We submitted this coin after it walked into our shop, but were disappointed that it didn’t get the MS65 grade, additionally the coin is somewhat loose in the holder and has rotated inside the gasket that is supposed to hold the coin tightly.
